Fashion Bible Vogue most Glamorous Women

London: Queen Elizabeth II has been named, along with a host of supermodel, as one of the world's most glamorous women according to fashion bible Vogue.

Vogue's December issue includes the 81-year-old monarch on its 50-name "Definitive List of Today's Glamorous Women," calling her "as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balm oral as she is wearing the crown jewels."

The magazine noted that glamor "is about how you wear something, not about what you wear. You can't buy glamor, and you can't fake it."

Here's a look at some of the 'Glamorous Women' on the Vogue list.


Naomi Campbell

Supermodel Naomi Campbell who has graced over 500 magazine covers has also earned a place in the list of 'World's most glamourous women'.

Naomi began her modelling career as a catwalk model, but she was quickly picked up for various high-profile advertising campaigns. The highpoint of her career was in the early 1990s, when she became a part of the two major supermodelling powerhouses, the Big Six and the Trinity.
Claudia Schiffer

German supermodel and actress Claudia Schiffer is considered to be one of the world's most successful supermodels, appearing on over 500 magazine covers.

After several magazine appearances, she quickly achieved supermodel status and was selected by Karl Lagerfeld to become the new face of Chanel.

Claudia continued to become a world-famous supermodel, becoming instantly recognizable with her blue eyes, blond hair and tall figure. Her modelling career continued to grow and she was contracted to model for Revlon. She also got involved in modelling for several catalogues and walked the ramp for various high profile designers

Kate Moss

English supermodel Kate Moss who has appeared on over 300 magazine covers began her career with British Magazine The Face when she was 15.

Earlier, Kate has also been voted as one of the 25 Sexiest Women of 2004, 8th in Maxims 50 Sexiest Women of 1999 and 22nd in FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 1995.

Mens magazine Arena named her as the 'Sexiest Woman' in their 150th issue

Helen Mirren

British actress Helen Mirren, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in the movie The Queen has also earned a place in the list.

Helen is also known to have won an Academy Award, four SAG Awards, Golden Globes and Emmy Awards during her career.
