Britney Spears Practices and Parties In Vegas

While a post-breakdown, career changing moment is only one short day away, Britney Spears showed no signs of nervousness as she partied into the early morning hours last night in Las Vegas.

The “Oops… I Did It Again” singer spent Friday afternoon rehearsing at the Pearl, where an MTV source said she “sounded amazing.” From there, the troubled pop tart made her way to the hip club Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with her pals, Alli Sims and Michelle Dupont.

"Britney was having fun sitting at the table with friends, drinking, smoking, holding sparklers and laughing,” a clubgoer told MTV news.

Meanwhile, another source added, “Britney chugged champagne, and danced wildly in her chair. The only time she didn’t dance was when ex Justin Timberlake’s hit song “Sexy Back” came on!”

Later on in the night, Brit’s magician performance partner Criss Angel made his grand entrance into the nightspot, only to whisk her away to Pure nightclub.

There, the couple were seated next to a stage occupied by Diddy. And according to MTV sources, “At one point the rap mogul even gave Brit a shout-out, declaring that the singer deserved respect because she had gone through some hard times but ‘she keeps her head up.’”

The Pure party came to a close at 3 in the morning, with Britney and Criss driving off together in the Vegas night.
