Perry stays on top
Katy Perry's controversial single I Kissed A Girl has held onto the number one spot for a second week.The former gospel singer held off Kid Rock's All Summer Long at number two, followed by The Script's The Man Who Can't be Moved, which climbed one place to number three.

Love Is Noise by The Verve moved one spot up to number four, while Dance Wiv Me by Dizzee Rascal dropped two places down to number five.

Meanwhile, The Script's self-titled album shot straight in at number one on the album chart, knocking Abba's Gold from the top.

Duffy's album Rockferry and Coldplay's Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends also dropped down one spot each to numbers three and four respectively.

Noah and the Whale's Peaceful The World Lays Me Down snatched the number five spot.
