Teri Polo Meets the Baby
Los Angeles (E! Online) - Thanks to her most well-known film role, Teri Polo knows what not to name a baby. The Meet the Fockers star and her live-in boyfriend Jamie Wollam welcomed their first child together, daughter Bayley, on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Polo's rep told E! News that Bayley was born at 3:02 p.m. and weighed 7 pounds.
Both the actress and her musician beau have sons—Griffin, 5, and Carter, 9, respectively—from previous marriages.
Polo and Wollam met in 2004 on the set of a music video for his band at the time, Avion, and they've been an item ever since, give or take the grace period before that first phone call.
The 38-year-old actress, who made for an unusually fresh-faced First Lady of the United States in the final season of The West Wing last year, told People in October that this pregnancy was "easier physically" than her last, mainly because she had the nutrition aspect down already.
"I vowed from the start [not to eat the first thing in sight] so I'm a lot smaller than I was with the first pregnancy," she said.
But regardless of how round she got, she was ecstatic to be expecting.
"I'm over the moon! It's my favorite role, being a mom," Polo said. "I know we're expecting a girl and I'm very, very excited."
After her stint in "what-if" Washington D.C., and before she starred in the short-lived David E. Kelley comedy The Wedding Bells, Polo appeared on Numb3rs and pulled leading lady duty in the Hallmark Channel movie Love Is a Four Letter Word.
