Claudia Schiffer has reunited with Chanel for a new campaign, 20 years after the fashion house made her one of the world’s first supermodels.


Chanel boss Karl Lagerfeld picked Schiffer to be the face of the company 20 years ago, a deal which brought instant fame to the supermodel, reports a news agency.

Now, the German model has returned to front a new campaign for the style guru, who was seen taking personal charge of the three-day photo shoot for Chanel’s ready-to-wear spring collection in St Tropez in the South of France last week. Schiffer was seen posing on the beach in a variety of outfits, including a see-through gown, an all-in-one flared cat suit covered in stars and a tightly fitting blue jacket.
