Jessica Simpson Gets Back To Her Roots

Everybody knows that you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the girl. And Jessica Simpson is proving it with a new direction for her new album.

The “With You” singer is reportedly gearing up for recording a country album, and she’s been spending a lot of time in Nashville, Tennessee.

A source told press, “She’s prepping for her new album. She’s spending time there and figuring it out.” And part of the preparation process has involved lunching with Big & Rich’s John Rich as well as meeting with Sony BMG execs.

While in town, Jessica also got to meet Robert Plant, the legendary frontman of Led Zeppelin. She hung out with the singer while he was taping an episode of CMT’s Crossroads. Lucky girl!
